Until this year, Mrs. Meera Badve was single handedly teaching all the above mentioned subjects.
Due to the kind assistance of teachers coming forward to assist Niwant in achieving its mission of imparting the best education to visually impaired students, we now have on board:
• Mrs. Devgirikar: M.S.C. B.Ed. teaching FYBA Arts, TY English, 11th English and Political Science.
• Mrs. Vandana Gandhi: B.E. ENTC teaching Banking entrance exams, Law extra coaching, Hindi 11th &12th, English Medium History, 12th Marathi Medium Hindi, 11th Std. Hindi.
• Priya Dhere :Economics and English teacher.
• Basavraj Santikar (Ex student of Niwant): 12th English Medium – History and Political Science, 11th Marathi and English Political Science.
Visiting Faculty:
• Jaideep Merchant – Finance Expert and Stock Market Analyst, teaching commerce subjects
• Deepali Krishna Kumar – PHD Economics – Accountancy
• Saurav Nolakha – CA – Accounts
• Kulkarni Sir – Ex. IIT Professor - Mathematics
Writers Club:
The Writers Club for NAMV was formed to assist students in finding writers for their examinations. The work of the writers club, over the past few years has grown and now members also do Marathi typing, recording of curricular and non curricular book, scanning and editing of books which are then printed into Braille.
Mrs. Sarojini Kurtkoti (Secretary NAMV) manages the Writer Club. Rohini Gokhale, Priya Dhere, Prachi Gurjar assist her with scanning and editing of books.
